After 15 games, not many people had the?New York Mets pegged as the team to have baseball’s best record, but that’s exactly where we stand. In that way, this winning streak has done more than just beef up their record; it has also taught this team how to win early. Of course, there are a few veterans like?David Wright?and?Lucas Duda?on this roster, and they are tasked with helping these young guys succeed.
It may be just as hard for those two, because Duda hasn’t been part of a winning Mets team and it has been several years since Wright was part of one. However, everyone in the Mets organization is getting used to winning now. Whether or not it lasts remains to be seen, but the last time the team was this hot out of the gate, they kept their fans happy all the way through October.
