Maryland tops Big Ten in NFL draft picks per capita

Not everyone was sold on the addition of Maryland and Rutgers helping Big Ten football, at least in terms of on-field product, but the first year provided some positive returns for the Terrapins.

First, of course, was Maryland's No. 3 finish in its inaugural year in Gray Rose Rouge Nike Air Max 90 HYP PRM the Big Ten East last fall.

Then this spring the Terrapins home state showed it has some talent that can help the league if it can be kept home.

Proof of the latter comes from Scout.com, which found the state of Maryland was fourth in the country in 2015 NFL draft picks per capita (1.33). That trailed Georgia (2.97), Alabama (2.86) and Florida (1.96).

Ohio (seventh with 0.86), Pennsylvania (eighth, 0.7) and Illinois (10th, 0.54) also made the top 10 from the scarpa running Nero /Neon Coral/Verde Asics Gel Noosa Tri 9 Big Ten.

Will Randy Edsall and his staff be able to take advantage of the talent in Maryland in the near future? Or will some of the Terps' new conference companions raid the cupboard? Only time will tell.
